DEL NORTE, CA — A driver waqs killed after a road accident that happened in Del Norte County, California on Tuesday, August 19th, 2014, according to the article released by The Del Norte Triplicate.
California Highway Patrol officials say that one person was killed when the car they were driving and a tractor-trailer hit each other after the car is believed to have crossed the center line of traffic while driving on Highway 101 on the Dr Fine Bridge spanning the Smith River around 11:00 Tuesday morning.

The driver of the car was killed in the crash, while the driver of the tractor-trailer reported no injuries at the scene.
Local police are assisting highway patrol representatives to get to the bottom of what may have caused the accident.
