Northwest Pensacola, FL — Nine people were injured in an accident involving a Greyhound bus and two semi-trailers in Northwest Pensacola, Florida, on Thursday, August 14, 2014. The accident took place on Interstate 10, near Pine Forest Road.
According to reports, a Greyhound bus had slowed for traffic. A semi-trailer traveling along the interstate failed to slow down and collided with a FedEx semi-trailer, pushing it into the Greyhound.
The first semi-trailer was driven by Michael Ashby. The FedEx truck was driven by Cynthia Laird. The Greyhound bus was driven by Vikki Miller.
Nine people aboard the Greyhound were injured. Reports indicate that of those, one injury was considered critical.
The accident is still being investigated by the Florida Highway Patrol.
