Lubbock, TX — News outlets have confirmed that 2013 Wylie High School graduate Morgan Lee has passed away following a car accident in Lubbock, Texas, on Wednesday, August 13, 2014.
Morgan Lee collided with a Chevy Tahoe being driven by a Lubbock police officer, at the intersection of Clovis Highway and Landmark Lane, around 1:45 in the afternoon.
Lee was taken to University Medical Center and pronounced dead. The police officer sustained moderate injuries. He was also taken to UMC for treatment.
Police are still investigating to see who was at fault in the accident.
