Pharr, TX — Two people were injured in a tractor trailer hit and run accident in Pharr, Texas, on Friday, August 1, 2014. The accident took place on Highway 281, near Jackson Avenue, around 11:45 in the morning.
Marry Ann Garcia was traveling with her 10-year old son when they were hit by a tractor trailer which was merging into their lane. The collision caused Garcia to lose control of her vehicle, which rolled, coming to land in the center median. Both Garcia and her son were injured and are now recovering at home.
Officials are looking for anyone who may have witnessed the accident and who can provide information that would help track the driver down. Those who may be able to help are being asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 956-787-8477.
