Murray County, OK — A Highway Patrolman was hospitalized after being struck by an alleged drunk driver in Murray County, Oklahoma, on Wednesday, July 30, 2014. The accident took place on Chickasaw Trail, between Davis and Sulphur, around three in the afternoon.
Police have identified Rosie Goff, who was driving 80 miles an hour when she struck the trooper’s vehicle. He was taken to a local hospital for his injuries. As of yet, there’s been no update on his current condition.
Police administered a field sobriety test and found that Goff had a blood alcohol limit of .16, which is twice the legal limit of .08.
The name of the trooper has not been released. The accident is still being investigated.
