Houston, TX — A man was critically injured after a car accident in Houston, Texas, on Wednesday, July 30, 2014. The accident took place on Evamston Street, near Rampchester Lane, late that night.
According to reports, the driver lost control of his truck while negotiating a curve. He came to rest in a local resident’s yard after crashing into a light pole, a mail box and a fire hydrant, rolling over in the process.
Emergency workers took him to Memorial Hermann Hospital. There’s been no update on the man’s current condition, and his name has not been released.
Officials say they don’t believe alcohol to have been a contributing factor to the accident.
