New Castle, PA — An accident between a car and a city bus sent two people to the hospital on Tuesday, July 29, 2014. The accident took place on Jefferson Street, and Kennedy Square, around 1:30 in the morning.
Reports say that John Zbiegan was driving along Jefferson when he ran a red light and crashed into a city bus. Inside the bus were John Pezzutti, the driver, and three passengers.
Emergency workers took a female passenger from the bus with Zbiegien to Jameson Hospital.
The accident is still being investigated, although authorities say that Zbiegien will be ticketed for running a red light.
