MESQUITE, TX — A multi-vehicle collision resulted in the hospitalization of three individuals in Mesquite, Texas on Tuesday, July 22nd, 2014, according to the news article released by The Dallas Morning News.
Police familiar with details of the accident have said that they think three people were hurt when a Chevy Sonic collided with a pickup truck that was consequently pushed into a disabled vehicle while driving on Interstate 20 around 10:00 Tuesday evening. The pickup truck is believed to have been pushing the disabled car when it was struck.

Three people were taken to Baylor Hospital where one of them remains in critical condition. It is not clear if the driver of the offending vehicles was one of the injured.
Mesquite Police are still evaluating the facts surrounding the crash.
