Commentary:
In the case of every single-vehicle accident, there is always a possibility that the accident was caused by a driver mistake, but looking at evidence of the scene could tell us more about what really happened. For instance, I’ve examined a single-vehicle crash that was presumed to be the fault of the driver, but simply by examining the skid marks on the road, we could determine that a tire blowout caused the crash, and the manufacturer of the tire was found liable because their product was not up to par. Again, all it would take to answer these questions is an in-depth look.
