Commentary:
In any kind of aircraft accident, there are always a litany of questions lingering after, however, looking at the aircraft with the same set of analytical eyes that peer over car accidents, all I see is a mechanical vehicle like a car, truck, or boat. As we all know, these mechanical vehicle can suffer from mechanical problems. The advantage to cars and watercraft is simply the fact that the vehicles don’t fall from the sky when they suffer a problem. The other problem with aircraft investigations is that the Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation and Safety Board can take up to a year to complete, for those who want their answers sooner rather than later, and independent investigation can easily be conducted.
