Mendocino County, CA — Police are reporting that Michael Jensen was seriously injured in a car accident after being hit by a wrong way driver in Mendocino County, California. The accident occurred on Highway 1, just north of Cleone, around 1:30 in the afternoon.
Police have identified Kymberly Greenless as the driver of a Volvo that swerved into oncoming traffic, crashing into Jensen’s Ford. Greenless was killed in the accident. Jensen was taken to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital for his injuries. His current condition is unknown.
It’s unknown why Greenless swerved into oncoming traffic. The accident is still under investigation.

I’d like to give everyone here the benefit of the doubt. It’s completely possible that the driver who was killed had a reason for swerving into oncoming traffic. If it’s found that the accident was caused because of driver inattention or something similar, then she would of course be liable for the damage she caused, and the victim would have a right to try and recover damages.
