Commentary:
The details surrounding this crash have yet to solidify, but based on the news article there are a few questions I have about the truck involved in the crash. Namely the speed at which it was traveling before the accident. Why is this information significant? Because there is more than a remote chance that this driver was speeding, and if the victim was turning in front of the truck, the victim may have anticipated more time than they actually had to make the turn. This information can be determined by examining the truck, and the electronic monitoring device within the vehicle, but time is not on the side of the victims in cases like this, because digital evidence has a way of evaporating over time.
