Roaring River, NC — A woman was hospitalized after an accident with an 18-wheeler in Roaring River, North Caroline. Reports claim that the accident took place last Thursday, on Highway 268.
Officials report that Dawn Bell was driving a Toyota Avalon when she crossed the highway’s center line and collided with an 18-wheeler traveling in the opposite direction.
Emergency workers arriving on the scene had to help Ms. Bell from her vehicle. Whether or not she had to be extricated is not know at this time.
Bell was taken to Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital. The extent of the injuries suffered by Billy Williams, the driver of the truck, isn’t known at this time.
