HARRIS COUNTY, TX — One person has died after a head-on accident in Harris County, Texas on Friday, April 25th, 2014, according to a news report from Click 2 Houston.
Investigators have said that they have reason to believe one person was killed when the vehicle they were driving was struck head-on by a tractor-trailer while driving on Highway 90 near Miller Road around 1:00 in the afternoon Friday.

The driver of one of the vehicles was killed in the crash.
The investigation is being handled by officials from the Harris County Sheriff’s Department.
Commentary:
I always advise people to be skeptical about what they read in accident reports on the news. Why? Because these articles are often written based off police reports, and contrary to popular belief, police officers who respond to car accidents are by-and-large traffic law enforcement, and not trained career accident investigators. More often than not, police reports are found to be incorrect, and only serve to be part of the equation, and not the end-all-be-all definitive answer as to what has transpired.
