Antioch, CA — A collision between a truck and a minivan sent two people to the hospital on Tuesday. The accident occurred in Antioch, California, on Deer Valley Road, north of Empire Mine Road.
Authorities haven’t said what caused the accident. The woman involved was able to get out of her car. Emergency workers took her to Kaiser Permanente Medical Center. The man in the pickup truck had to be extricated from his vehicle. He was taken to John Muir Medical Center after sustaining serious leg injuries.
The names of the two victims haven’t been released, and the collision is still being investigated.
