Commentary:
While we do not yet have all the facts surrounding the accident, chain reactions can be messy, difficult affairs for all those involved. Very rarely is one person 100% at fault for an accident, and the victim is 100% without fault, and because of this a system was needed to allow the dispersal of fault by a subjective third party, which would be a jury. A jury would be presented with all the evidence in the case before they would dole out fault based on a sliding percentage scale. These systems are instrumental in deciding fault. Which is the first step on the road to undoing the damage in an accident.
