Cannon Falls, MN — An accident occurred at the intersection of 300th Street and Highway 56 last Friday. The accident took place at about 10:15 in the morning, between a car and an 18-wheeler.
Curtis Rauvola was turning onto Highway 56 from 300th Street when an 18-wheeler traveling on the highway collided with his car.
He was critically injured and taken to Regions Hospital in St. Paul. He passed away over the weekend.
The name of the man driving the 18-wheeler has not been released, but he was unhurt. The accident is still being investigated.
