MADISON COUNTY, IN — One person was killed in a serious accident that happened in Madison County, Wisconsin on Sunday, March 23rd, 2014, according to a report from FOX 59.
Indiana State Police representatives have said that they have reason to believe Mary Ward was killed when the vehicle she was a passenger in was struck by a pickup truck while driving on Co Rd 600 North. The accident happened around 1:00 in the afternoon on Sunday near the intersection with Co Rd 100.

Mary Ward was taken to nearby Community Hospital where she died a short time later. The driver of the vehicle was also hurt and taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Investigators hope any eyewitnesses that have not yet come forward will do so in order to aid in helping police determine what happened.
