Sources indicate that Sgt. Billy Browning suffered a head injury after being involved in a motorcycle accident in Corpus Christi TX on March 28 2012. According to reports a civilian executed an unsafe lane change and struck the sergeant with her vehicle causing him to wreck.

Allegedly the woman who hit Browning was using a cell phone at the time of the accident. She returned to Browning a short while later sources say. Browning was believed to have been wearing a helmet and was treated at Christus Spohn Memorial Hospital.
