Authorities in charge of the investigation from the Texas State Police have released a statement to the public that contains the name of the individual that was hurt in a road accident in Austin, TX on Wednesday, November 6th, 2013, according to KXAN. Police currently have reason to believe six people were hurt when three vehicles collided for reasons currently under investigation while driving down Highway 290W.

According to the statement released by authorities, six people sustained unspecified injuries in the accident and were taken by emergency response personnel to a nearby hospital where an update on his condition was not made immediately available by hospital staff. Police are currently working out why the cars collided. The investigation remains active and ongoing.
