Police with details of the accident from the Maryland State Police have released the name of the man that was seriously hurt in a road accident in Finksburg, MD on Friday, November 1st, 2013, according to the Baltimore Sun. Police currently think that Kelly Murphy was hurt when the car he drove became involved in a chain reaction accident involving two vehicles and a tractor-trailer while driving on Highway 91. Investigators believe the two cars collided head-on after one of them swerved into oncoming traffic before the semi-truck collided with one of the cars.

The statement released by officials, Kelly Murphy sustained serious injuries in the accident and was taken by paramedics in a helicopter to Shock Trauma where an update on his condition was not made immediately available by hospital staff. Authorities from the State Police Reconstruction team are currently investigating the accident.
